The Bible is the foundation we stand on. The source of our beliefs is found in God’s Word. We have a passion for sharing our faith with the world and helping people learn more about Jesus (Mat 28:19). We aim to live active, fun, blessed, and faith-filled lives that bring Glory to God (John 15:8).
Jesus provides the only way to Heaven through his death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. He did this so we can be saved from the penalty of our sins. All sin requires payment. That payment becomes due after our physical death. If we pay for our own sin, the result is an eternity away from God - in Hell. But when Jesus pays for our sin, we are “Saved” from the penalty of Hell and received into Heaven. Being “Saved” or “Salvation” takes place when we make a verbal confession that “Jesus is Lord” of our life and we believe in our heart that God raised Jesus from the dead. (Romans 10:9-10). After “Salvation”, your life as a Christian begins.
We refer to The Bible as “God’s Word”, “Scripture”, or “The Word”. It is without error (Proverbs 30:5). We know that “All Scripture is inspired by God…” (2 Timothy 3:16) It is useful for teaching us what is true. It is the standard by which we live. It helps us correct our mistakes. It is necessary for training us to do what is right.
The Holy Spirit our helper, our counselor and our friend. He is a person (John 15:26). The Holy Spirit was sent to lead us to all truth. He speaks to us the words he hears from God himself (John 16:13 ). We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruit and the gifts of the Spirit. Although the word “Trinity” is not found in the Bible, many Christians use this term to describe the Holy Spirit’s role in this world. God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit are the only members of the Trinity.
